Katy Perry - Wide Awake

"Wide Awake" is a song by American recording artist Katy Perry from the March 2012 reissue of 2010's Teenage Dream, Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. Written by Perry, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Cirkut, and Bonnie McKee, and produced by Luke and Cirkut, it was specifically written for Perry's film Katy Perry: Part of Me. It was serviced to contemporary hit radio stations on May 22, 2012 by Capitol as the re-release's second and final single and the eighth and final single of Perry's Teenage Dream era. A power ballad, "Wide Awake" is styled in electronic and dance-pop, and is lyrically reminiscent of the reality of a break up and moving forward. (Wikipedia)
