Billie Myers - Kiss The Rain

"Kiss the Rain" is a song by English recording artist Billie Myers, from her debut album Growing, Pains. It was released in 1997 as the lead single of the album by Universal Records. The song, produced by Desmond Child, is considered Myers' signature song and is her only notable hit. Myers came up with the title of the song through a misheard lyric. Listening to Bush's hit song "Glycerine", she thought Gavin Rossdale was singing "Kiss the rain" on the chorus. When she discovered the correct lyric was "Glycerine", she was still taken with the phrase "kiss the rain" and it inspired the title. (Wikipedia)
